Land acknowledgement
Acknowledging our presence on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded tm̓xʷúlaʔxʷ (land) of the syilx / Okanagan people. We recognize, honour, and respect the syilx / Okanagan lands upon which we live, work, and play.
What is tm̓xʷúlaʔxʷ?
tm̓xʷúlaʔxʷ means the land and everything that lives and interacts on it. It is an all encompassing word that expresses the intersectionality of land and nature.

I see the land and our own happiness having similar patterns- both flourish when they grow with more life and diversity.
Rewilding in the garden: starts in the soil. Microorganisms like bacteria and fungi break down organic materials by eating it, then produce waste that are in forms plants can absorb. Feeding them, feeds us. Rewilding does not mean chaos in the garden, it means having more microorganism and bacteria in it. 🍄
Living soils, Healthier guts.
Rewilding yourself: means living more connected. 😌✨
It’s spending more time outside, listening to your body, being different, eating real food, resting when you’re tired, connecting with community, and trusting your instincts. It’s letting go of constant pressure to be productive and remembering that we aren’t meant to live disconnected from nature or ourselves.
Rewilding isn’t about escaping modern life — it’s about feeling grounded, present, and even more alive within it. 🌿
